
Dates: 6/21, 6/27, 7/11- 10am-2pm
Price: 420$ for all 3 or 150$ per session
Duration: 4 possible 4-hour rides. Riders can do all or one activity.
Audience: Blue-Black lever riders; Riders who have taken an intermediate level course or have equivalent skills. These riders are interested in exploring a bike park and getting comfortable with more technical trails. We will also be practicing trails that have been used for the NW Cup. Riders will have a few skills beginner/intermediate reviewed (roll downs, trail scanning, finding flow in technical terrain) as needed. The focus will be on trail riding to maintain smooth and controlled riding. These initial practices are planned for Silver MT Idaho leading up to the NW cup round.
Pre-requisites: Should be comfortable riding Blue and Black trails. Some examples at Beacon hill:

Considerations: Full face helmet required. Knee pads, elbow pads, chest protector recommended. Full-suspension DH, trail or enduro style bike required. Silver Mountain lift ticket or season pass required.
Course Purpose: Explore the bike park and ride trails. The setting will be more informal than a lesson and focused on riding as a group, making friends, and gaining confidence to have a fun day on race day.
Outline for 4-hour sessions:
Bike check/safety check (10 minutes): Make sure everyone is ready to ride
Skill review (30 minutes (if needed)): time depending on number of riders in the camp. Review basic skills as needed. Introduce intermediate skills such as roll downs as needed
Riding (remaining time): We will ride trails to be determined by skill and rider interest. We will plan a snack and hydration break at some point during the day.
